RE: paleonet PDF PAPER AVAILABLE

The problem might be solved if these "reprint broadcasts" could be submitted
as "exceptional list traffic" to the list moderators so that the reply-to
header is set to the sender rather than the list.

It works fine for other lists, and occurs infrequently enough here to be of
little burden to the moderators, if they are in agreement (also stops this
debate each time).

Failure to submit properly then warrants ...........(fill in your prefered
penalty)

hope this helps

Hi there,

Just a quick observation on Peter Ward's complaint cited below

    > Im really object to using palenet for broadcasting

I agree, but that's not the point of my writing. My experience is that when I
press the respond button to an e-mail received from a listserver the answer
goes to the list server, if pressing the "respond to all" it ALSO goes to the
individual and (unless I forget) I delete the listserver address. However, in
paleonet , the message is sent only to the listserver, independent of the
respond choice, so I have to copy and paste the individual address (replacing
the listserver's)................
