Hi there,
Just a quick observation on Peter Ward's complaint cited below
> Im really object to using palenet for broadcasting
> reprints, and then having to endure all the responses.
> Professor Peter D Ward
I agree, but that's not the point of my writing. My experience is that when I press the respond button to an e-mail received from a listserver the answer goes to the list server, if pressing the "respond to all" it ALSO goes to the individual and (unless I forget) I delete the listserver address. However, in paleonet , the message is sent only to the listserver, independent of the respond choice, so I have to copy and paste the individual address (replacing the listserver's).
Perhaps I am complicated, perhaps it's the program, perhaps not all are aware that it is a bit more work to send the mail where you want it to go, ;-).
Cheers,
Niko
