Dear Palaeontologists of the World, The International Palaeontological Association is the official representative for the palaeontological sciences on the global scene, especially to the International Union of Geological Sciences and the International Union of Biological Sciences. Other essential activities include sponsorship of International Palaeontological Congresses and publication of free online directories [http://ipa.geo.ukans.edu]. The IPA aims to promote and coordinate international cooperation in palaeontology and to encourage the integration and synthesis of all palaeontological knowledge. Corporate Membership in IPA is open to all palaeontological societies and to all scientific organizations having an interest in palaeontology, which may include national and regional societies, disciplinary associations, museums, private and public institutions, and educational and amateur organizations. The International Palaeontological Association deeply appreciates the loyal support of its Corporate Members. The following is a list of IPA Corporate Members in good standing, as of the end of December 2004. IPA thanks all of these faithful members most heartily and looks forward to their continued support. Dues for corporate members are payable annually at the very reasonable rate of USD $7.50 for each 100 members of your organization, plus bank charges if applicable. (Organizations that are in a financial position to do so are encouraged to donate at a higher rate.) Please also contact the IPA Secretary-General, Dr. Rosalie F.
