Hello all, today one of our senior paleontologists came to me with a question. He asked me if I know any collections of bottles that were thrown into the sea and found thereafter preferably with their messages still attached. I could only remark that for my belief most of those message- in-the-bottles should be in private hands, but I am not sure. So, I pose this question to the PaleoNet community. By the way this is not meant to be a joke. This collegue is actually working on biogenic abrasion of siliceous substrates. Any hint where those bottles could be found would be very much appreciated.
