I am writing a paper contra fundamentalist flood geology, and I need to
know how many terrestrial species or genera have gone extinct, plus the
objective evidence and reasoning upon which the answer is based.  Any
answers or references to journal articles (Engl, Fr, Germ) or suggestions
of other newsgroups to try or particular paleontologists to consult should
