Thanks, Mark, though my point is even better reiterated if you replace
"Blackwells" with "the publisher or distributor" and "Association" with
"publishing society or the editor(s) of the publication". This may not be
only a Blackwells/Marston problem.

not fill your loved one's stocking with subscriptions to a couple of
palaeontological monograph series this year ...
