Hi all, I am posting this on behalf of Laurie Anderson; please contact her directly-- I recently (April 19) learned that I will have a 12 month research assistantship available for a grad student. The appointment is for one (1) year and can start as early as on July 1 or as late as August 19 THIS YEAR (2002). The funding is not tied to a specific project, so the RA would be nearly 100% free to use the assistantship to pursue his/her research. The stipend amount is $20,000 for students with a M.S., $18,000 for other students. Doctoral students MAY BE eligible for an additional graduate school enhancements of up to $5,000. Graduate students at LSU pay in-state tuition and fees ($1,714 per semester). For more information contact Laurie Anderson (see information below).
