If one wishes to make 35 mm slides form scanned images the companies, 
and there are many, that do this from files transmitted over the 
internet have guidelines that they publish. You can find these 
companies with a simple google search. I have used them and the 
results are excellent. If you are making overheads then you should 
plan on a 150 ppi image in the final size.
