In a message dated 96-03-01 01:53:20 EST, you write: > Last Tuesday (2/27/96), PBS aired an episode of NOVA concerning alien >abductions. Now before you go raising your eyebrows about NOVA going >commercial, let me say this. This program, I feel, is the way hot topics >like >alien abductions and creationism should be dealt with on television. The >program was entirely neutral, giving both sides of the arguement equal time >(including Carl Sagan for the anti- side) and making no conclusions. > I would like to know if anybody else in Paleonet has seen this episode >and what you have to say? I too watched the the program, well about three quarters of it due to domestic distractions but I found the show to be very well balanced and I did not detect any obvious bias on the part of the NOVA people. I was scared for a moment when I fist read the promo for it though because I though that NOVA was decending to the level of NBC . I am very glad my fears were unfounded! Regards, Thomas R.
