Date: Tue, 6 Feb 96 14:23:10 -0500 From: PaleoMan@learnlink.emory.edu (Anthony Martin) Organization: Project LearnLink - Emory University Subject: Ichnology page update To: N.MacLeod@nhm.ac.uk Priority: normal MIME-Version: 1.0 Status: O Some of you gave me some great input and suggestions for improving the Ichnology page hosted here at Emory University, so I just wanted to let all know that the page is now "new and improved." Although a few parts are still under construction, the new version has many more links within the document for ease of viewing, pictures of trace fossils included within text sections, an expanded image database of trace fossils (about 30 images and ichnogenera descriptions are online now), and a much more extensive bibliography on ichnologically related subjects. The address is: http://www.emory.edu/GEOSCIENCE/HTML/TFW3.HTML Please pay attention to capital letters in the address because I think our main Web server is case sensitive (but I would like to be proven wrong on that). If you have trace fossil images that you'd like to add to the page, just send them my way (either as JPEG or GIF files) and I'll put them in with appropriate citations (age, formation, locality, photographer). Thanks for your previous input on how to improve the page and keep watching it for more trace fossil images. Anthony J. Martin Geosciences Program, Emory University Atlanta, Georgia USA
