Dear colleagues; I am now writing a short essay in Japanese on an evil influence of teleological interpretation when people talk/write about evolution. As an example I would like to quote a scene in Jostein Gaarder's "Sofies Verden" (chapter of 'Darwin') where -it may be possible to say- Sofie and Albert talk about coevolution of flowers and insects. The Japanese translation says '....some flowers have beautiful color and fragrance _in order to _attract insects and make them help pollination...'. Would anyone inform me off net how is this part written in English, German, French and Norwegian language? Thank you.
