     Amoco Norway Oil Company in Stavanger, Norway is soliciting candidates 
     for a Kroner-based salaried position as Biostratigraphic Coordinator.  
     The selected candidate will be expected to integrate biostratigraphic 
     data to assist exploration and production geoscientists in their 
     evaluation of operated and open acreage.  Responsibilites will include 
     developing biostratigraphic programs for drilling wells, building and 
     standardizing databases, using graphic correlation and other 
     biostratigraphic methods to assist in the interpretation of 
     stratigraphic sequences and systems tracks for reservoir prediction 
     and identification.
     
     Minimum requirements include 5 years experience in North Sea 
     biostratigrpahic applications, an M.Sc. or equivalent, a willingness 
     to travel (candidate will spend several months with Houston 
     Paleontology division for training in proprietary methods and 
     software), and strong communication skills.
