We at the University of California Museum of Paleontology
(UCMP) would like to take this opportunity to familiarize the paleo
community with PaleoBios, our in-house journal, and to announce its
new home page on the World Wide Web at
http://ucmp1.berkeley.edu/museum/PBSI.html. Since its inception in
1967, PaleoBios has published papers on all aspects of paleontology.
Our current circulation includes over 300 institutional and private
subscribers, primarily in North America and Europe.
PaleoBios is a peer-reviewed journal. We welcome submissions
of manuscripts from authors not associated with UCMP. We publish on
an occasional basis, as warranted by the acceptance of manuscripts for
publication. Current turn-around time from submission to publication of
accepted issue-length manuscripts is 4 to 5 months. Turn-around time
for note-length submissions may be longer.
We have attached a copy of our Statement of Purpose, a list of
our most recent titles, and instructions on how to obtain our Guidelines
for Authors and subscription information.
