Hi all,
I'm going to keep all my derogatory thoughts about the industry
coordinators clique to myself today (well almost).  
I am asking for some suggestions today.  Seems that due to some sort of
judgement lapse on my part I've aquired the position of Gulf Coast SEPM
Program Chairman for the 1997 GCAGS (Gulf Coast Association of
Geological Societes) meeting.  It appears that I have two possible
courses of action.  I can either let the general call for papers go out
and then trying to assemble some sort of topical grouping for the
sessions.  Alternatively, I can try to come up with some good session
topics and try to direct the call for papers to taylor them the chosen
theme.
Any suggestions? (I won't make you work I promise...just trying to pick
your brains.
