I am not (yet) a professional and admittadly I do not access any Usenet
forums but from what I have read from those who DO know, I must also advise
against gating sci.bio.paleo to Paleonet. I too would not like to have to
deal with crank clutter. The professionalism and congeniality of the
participants on Paleonet is what makes this list superior!

As somebody previously suggested, as a compromise, _MAYBE_ PaleoNet mail
could be gated ONE WAY to UseNet but not back to PaleoNet.
