I'm sure someone knows the details better than I do, but my Swedish
newspaper this morning had a story about a recent nightclub fire in China
that killed hundreds of people, and in that context it mentioned an
earlier fire in a nightclub in Jilin (I think) that killed two and then
spread to a neighboring museum, where the victim was said dinosaur. The
main message of the article was that there has been a lot of uncontrolled
building in China without much regard for fire (or other) hazards, but
obviously we all should realize that something like this could happen
just about anywhere.
