INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM OF ECOSYSTEM EVOLUTION
Moscow, September 26-30, 1995

The Palaeontological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences is
organizing a symposium which will focus on palaeontological aspects of
ecosystem evolution including:

(1) origin and early evolution of marine and terrestrial ecosystems
(2) origin of modern type ecosystems
(3) ecological succession in palaeoecosystems
(4) coadaptation and symbiogenesis
(5) ecosystem crises and their causes
(6) palaeoecology and ecological forecasting
