Folks, I have a small paleontology class (6 students). I want them to get a feel for some good paleo lists. I have asked them all to join this list, but I would like them also to try another list. The problem is I want a list that is active on topic and one that might interest undergrads. I am asking them to lurk (not post). I know of a number of lists, but a lot of them like the two paleobotany lists I am on are quite dead. I am not sure I have received a message from the British paleobotany list in more than a year. I suggested the dinosaur list. I think that one is quite active and would be interesting, but what about the vertebrate paleo list fairly acitve? I have heard about that one but have never joined. -- James Mahaffy (mahaffy@dordt.edu) Phone: 712 722-6279 498 4th Ave NE Biology Department FAX : 712 722-1198 Dordt College, Sioux Center IA 51250-1697
