As with many US colleges and universities, the University of Minnesota Duluth is also providing some assistance to students and faculty displaced by the damage and flooding associated with hurricane Katrina. Here is a link to a web page with specific information:

Displaced college students are generously being taken in by schools across the U.S., in some cases waiving academic records or tuition. If you are a displaced student, the best advice is to contact a college or university near your home or in your area of specialization without delay, so as to continue your education without interruption.
