Dear Paleonetters:
The following situation you may have already
encountered and figured out a solution for it. Your input is
appreciated.
In packing items for field work in overseas
areas I realized that some items are now prohibited on airplanes, including
PaleoBond adhesive, accelerator spray, and penetrant (all for fossil repair).
The mail service do not take them either. The reason is because they are highly
flamable.
I wonder if some of you have tried to ship
them to Latin American or European countries and how it works, which companies
do it, and how to pack them.
