Greetings, Sorry to be a pest. I am a teacher in Australia (near Sydney)and I have found some rather nice specimens of conularia. When I do a search re conularia I get some illustrations of specimens and various descriptive understandings from "jellyfish" to "coral". Would someone be able to assist with some info / references on web to the latest thinking on these creatures. The ones that I found are likely to be from Permian strata (I am presently having this checked) and I should have some pics available soon if anyone is interested. The specimens are all three dimensional and range in size from about 1/4" diam and 3" long to about 1.5" diam and 8" long. There were 3 of us collecting in a roadside rock dump and we found about 20 specimens in 30 minutes...all fully three dimensional. Brilliant stuff. regards Gary Gary Holloway Oakville P.S. via Windsor, NSW, Australia "May the great emu never come to kick down your dunny door" ...old Australian Aboriginal Proverb __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
