although i never met Dr. Keith Young personally, my research team (led by Dr. J.B. Stevens and M.S. Stevens,M.S. - who knew him well) sent ammonite specimens to him on an ongoing basis for a decade (as recently as this past summer) for proper identification in our ongoing work mapping and delineating the stratigraphy of the Boquillas Formation. without his input, i would not have achieved my master's degree. i will always remember him for this.--- ann molineux <annm@mail.utexas.edu> wrote: > Sad news from Austin, Texas: > >Keith Preston Young > > > > > >Family-Placed Obituary > > > >Aug. 18, 1918 - Aug. 20, 2004 Keith was born near > Buffalo, Wyoming at the > >foot of the beautiful Bighorn Mountains to Marvin > Preston Young and Belle > >Elgin Young.
