He was a great hero of mine, and a mentor.  He reviewed my first published
paper with the following comment.  On the old JP review forms, there was a
question asking: does the author adequately reference previous work?
Keith's response was "If ignoring most previous work and misrepresenting
those references which are listed is viewed as adequate, then the author
has done an adequate job".   Keith taught me that adequate was not good
enough.

I will miss him.
