Title: First Annual Midwest Symposium of Student Paleontologi
Hello!

First off, we would like to introduce ourselves.  This e-mail is originating from the Paleontology Club of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Our group is composed of undergraduate students, graduate students, and professionals here at the University who are interested in various aspects of Paleontology, both professionally and recreationally.  It is from our professional influences, however, that we are proud to make the following announcement to everyone here at this list server.

The Paleontology Club at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is proud to announce the First Annual Midwest Symposium of Student Paleontologic Research. This symposium will be held on March 5-6 and will provide an opportunity for students, both graduate and undergraduate, to share their research among their peers.  All forms of paleontology and related geology are welcome, including, but not limited to, vertebrate, invertebrate and micropaleontology, geochemistry, ichnofossils, biomechanics, paleoecology, paleobotany, and stratigraphy related to understanding fossils.

The deadline for abstract submission is December 12, 2003.  Abstracts will be submitted online and registration can be accomplished by online credit card payment or by downloading the registration form and mailing the form and check payment to the address specified on the website given below.

The Schedule of events is as follows:
Friday, March 5:  Welcome reception in the UW-Geology Museum
