POSTDOCTORAL POSITION

I have funding available for a 2 year post-doctoral position (starting as
soon as possible) here in Uppsala, Sweden, looking at the relationship
between Hox gene expression and morphological evolution in the Ecdysozoa
(i.e. arthropods plus nematodes, priapulids etc), specifically at the shift
between non-segmented and segmented organisms.  We hope to concentrate on
the onychophorans and (if we are successful in breeding) priapulids.  The
work should include a collecting trip to Australia and work at the
university's marine station on the west coast of Sweden. The ideal candidate
would have interests in both morphology and developmental gene expression:
an understanding of phylogenetic method would also  be desirable.  Please
