Annual Meeting of the Palaeontological Association December 15th-19th Geological Museum Copenhagen, Denmark Abstract and Accomodation deadline: September 7, 2001 This year's Annual Meeting of the Palaeontological Association will take place December 15th-19th in the Geological Museum Copenhagen (with field trips to Bornholm (pre-conference), Stevns Klint and Faxe Quarry (one-day post-conference excursion, 18th December)). The meeting is open to members and non-members of the Association alike. The technical sessions will consist of two days of talks and posters (16th & 17th December) on all aspects of palaeontology, supplemented by a series of social events in the capital city of jazz and design, of smørrebrød and Danish beers, and intimate bars and restaurants. Presentations on any aspect of palaeontology are welcome. Talks are scheduled for 15 minutes with a further five minutes for discussion. The museum has also substantial collections of Palaeozoic, Cretaceous and Paleogene fossils; type material will be available for study by prior arrangement.
