Children's Book: Suggestions Solicited

Dale Springer and I are in the initial stages of writing a children's book
on evolution and the history of life.  Tentatively titled "Life Has a
History: The Climb from Slime," it is intended for upper elementary
students.  We would welcome suggestions from our colleagues on topics to be
included, remembering that we need to focus on broad outlines, not small
