Palaeontology Meetings-NAPC etc

In Response to Norm MacLeod's reply to David Kohl's question on the NAPC.

The NAPC is not the only regularly-scheduled meeting that is devoted to
palaeontology - there is also the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology meetings
which are held annually (usually in the USA, but have been in Canada and
Mexico) during October. This year's meeting will be at the American Museum of
Natural History, New York - October 16-19.

Information can be obtained from the committee:

Mark Norell Email Norell@amnh.org

or

Richard Tedford Email Tedford @amnh.org

There will be a Turtle Symposium before hand which is being organised by
Gene Gaffney Email esg@amnh.org

Also, there will be a symposium on Pterosaurs (best to contact Mark Norell
regarding this)

Just before the 6-NAPC this year the Society of Avian Palaeontology and
Evolution (SAPE) will be holding their meeting at the Smithsonian June 3-7. The
SAPE hold their meetings every 4 years and is devoted to birds. This year's
meeting is being organised by Storrs Olsen and his team.
