How refreshing to see "Time" magazine make a cover >story out of one of the great creative episodes in the Earth's history. Congratulations to the author >of the article, who did a first-rate job, and to the editors of "Time". > > >Roger D. K. Thomas I have not had a chance to read the Time article, but I did happen to see the issue that carried the letters to the editor. From the tone of the letters, most readers (or at least those stimulated to write) thought that the article was evidence for creationism and another case where "evolutionists" have found themselves unable to "explain away" the sudden appearance of diverse life forms. Is this just a matter of reading the story from different view points? ========================================= Allen J.
