Where were we when you needed us?

At this point many of you may be wondering "Whatever happened to that
listserver called PaleoNet?" Wel-l-l-l-l, we had some problems last week
that resulted in PaleoNet being inadvertently taken off-line. This was due
to some changes that were made in the structure of the PaleoNet files on
the NHM's server. Worse still, the problem went undetected until late
Friday. However, things appear to be back to "normal" (whatever that is)
now. If you sent something to PaleoNet last week it probably didn't go out
to the entire list. Please resend it again if you can. Also, if you know of
anyone who is still having trouble receiving PaleoNet messages, please ask
them to contact me directly.
