This message goes to the Cretaceous branch among the biostratigraphers. There was a meeting at Belgium a short time ago where formal definitions of Cretaceous stage boundaries have been made. Is somebody out there who was on the meeting (I could not come unfortunately)? ... and took notes I should say, because a colleague from our institute was there but did not record what was decided. My specific questions are for definitions of the Albian/Cenomanian, the Cenomanian/Turonian, and the Turonian/Coniacian boundary. For the community it may be worthwile if the other definitions could also be broadcasted through the Internet. It will probably take a while until the publication is printed. Many thanks!
