paleonet Last Call! Abstract Deadline for 2005 AAPG/SEPM/NAMS Micropaleo Session

Dear Colleague,

The abstract deadline (November 12) is rapidly approaching for an upcoming
micropaleontology session that may be of interest to subscribers to this
list.

The North American Micropaleontology Section of SEPM (NAMS) is sponsoring a
session on the "Integration of Micropaleontology and Petroleum Exploration"
at the upcoming annual joint meeting of the American Association of
Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) and the Society for Sedimentary Geology (SEPM).
This meeting will be held in Calgary, June 19-22, 2005. AAPG/SEPM annual
meetings feature an impressive array of presentations and exhibits on
geoscience methods and technologies, and we hope that the NAMS micropaleo
session provides a venue for sharing examples of the importance of
integrating biostratigraphy in petroleum geology and related areas. We hope
that you will consider submitting an abstract for this session.

With best regards from session co-chairs Dave McNeil and Pete McLaughlin,
