I have not seen or heard of Bob Ravn for years now, not since just 
after he moved out to Alaska. His last e-mail address That I know

I forwarded your message to there, so I guess that he will respond 
if he is still there. I have an old version of Taxon (7.5Mb), circa 1990 
And I believe that there is a slightly more recent update somewhere 
in Palynolgy in Sheffield, so in the event that you want a copy of 
these I can supply. The database was always free, thanks to Bob, 
and so there is no problem in copying it on. It also runs in DOS so 
there are no tricky exe files to install.
