Re: paleonet GSA 2002 Session on Linking Research and Education



I'm not a professional paleontologist, and I know little about the joys
of the money chase, so I feel highly qualified (lol) to respond:

  1.  I don't think anybody should be shot for speaking his/her mind. 
What was that saying about "I disagree with what you say..."?  (BTW, I
have no opinion on this personally, due to the above.)

  2.  Reading the first announcement from this point of view
(ignorance), the topic sounds subjectively like something that nobody
could object to, yet there are obviously factors that I (and surely
others) are unaware of.  Your comment, however delivered, is perfectly
on topic, contributing a valuable alternate point of view, not a
sidetrack.

  3.  How was the pate'?
