Some of you who have posted PaleoNet messages recently have noticed that PaleoNet's listserver software has mysteriously begun sending bounce alerts to you from an address (cryptically) designated by the string "EMDRNF". First, be assured there is no cause for alarm. Receipt of such a bounce alert does not mean that your message is being bounced back from all PaleoNet addresses. Rather, the problem seems to derive from some (presently unknown) idiosyncrasy of this address that is resulting in the bounce alert being sent to the authors of the original message rather than just to me. If you post a message to PaleoNet and receive a bounce alert from "EMDRNF" please ignore it. Rob Guralnick and I are trying to track down an squash this annoying little bug. Computers! Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.
