Let's try this again! Textless Postings

For some (as yet undetermined reason) the Listproc software has (again)
started sending out messages sans text to all subscribers of Berkeley-based
listservers (e.g., PaleoNet, micropal, mollusca). PaleoNet isn't the only
listserver affected and Berkeley personnel are trying to get to the bottom
of the problem. The difficulty arises from the fact that at least three
different pieces of software might (either individually or in combination)
be responsible for the problem. If you're a programmer, you know that this
is the stuff of nightmares and, unfortunately, it is most easily debugged
on currently active listservers. All I can ask is that you bear with us. If
the problems don't get better in a week of serious tweaking we'll probably
change the software used to manage the PaleoNet list.
