Management issues --- PaleoNet

        Hi ---


        Norm has chronicled our continuing work at Berkeley to isolate
problems with Paleonet.  Part of this work has included installing a
completely new and updated senndmail program and many recompilations of the
listserver software.

        Even given this, we obviously are still experiencing difficulties
on our end.  Most of the UCMP subscribed to PaleoNet have NOT received
emails without the body of the message.  This suggests that the problem is
either with certain email addresses or that a certain number of messages
are distributed before the problem occurs.   Since we are NOT experiencing
the problem, we need your help.  Will people who are only getting headers
please send a personal email to me (robg@fossil.berkeley.edu) just saying
NO HEADER and listing the type of machine that houses your email account
and the type of mailer that you use.   If you do not know that information
still send an an email just saying NO HEADER.  Using this information, I
can begin to look for patterns and hopefully get this worked out.
