new old journal in the paleonet

Dear paleonetters,

I am very happy that I can inform you now about the presentation of a very 
traditional publication series of the Freiberg University (Bergakademie 
Freiberg) in the paleonet. Since several days you can read about the journal

"Palaeontologie, Stratigraphie, Fazies"

on the paleontological publication site ("places to go ...") of the paleonet.

This journal represents the continuation of the "Freiberger Forschungshefte - 
Beitraege zur Allgemeinen und Speziellen Palaeontologie" (=contributions to 
common and special palaeontology). After the "revolution" of 1989 in eastern 
Germany the journal were published hitherto in two issues, the third issue is 
recently in press. The topics of the papers are: palaeontology, stratigraphy, 
facies analysis, palaeogeography and related themes (applied and in fundamental 
research).

The papers are published in English or in German language (with an English 
summary). As well all contents of the first three issues as all summaries are 
available under the net place mentioned above.
