Hello, I'm looking at pre-historic (before European) extinctions of birds on Pacific Islands. Polynesia and Micronesia were invaded by humans only within the last 4K years. I assumed that subfossil birds found on these islands had to be extirpated by humans but Paul Delcourt here at UT says that I should look at the possibility of climate change as a factor. Does anyone know of any sources for that would help me out? Thanks, John Curnutt
