The subject line

   Greetings.
        The solution as to whether one wastes time (or not) reading stuff
they want to read (or don't) is quite simple:  Make sure the subject of
their posting is the same subject as on the subject line.
        When time is limited, I scan the subjects on my "In" window,
looking for pertinent stuff first.  For example, "No bolides!" has evolved
into a completely different subject, _far_ removed from the original
posting of the same name.
        I realize that sometimes it's a little difficult to come up with a
cogent 2- or 3-word title describing your posting, but I'm obviously not
the only person who feels something needs to be done.
