Neural Networks

Hallo everybody!
 
This is Harry Birkmann (grad Student at Arizona State).
I'm currently working on a project involving image analysis and pattern
recognition.
Then some time ago, an article about neural networks crossed my way
and I became interested in the topic.
 
I would love to hear from people out there who have thought about or
experimented with neural networks in the context of image analysis  and
pattern recognition in paleontology.
