I've been running EndNote as a plug-in module for MS Word 5.1a for several
years and have no complaints.  I have heard that a Windows version either
is or soon will be available.

If you do decide to use EndNote (or anyone else out there is currently
running it) on a Mac, here is a tip:

My former lab mate from the UofAZ, Tom Moore, has written a freeware
program called GR Basic (short for GeoRef Basic) that will take downloaded
GeoRef CD-ROM files (inlcuding keywords, geographic coordinates, etc) from
a MS-DOS disk and translate them to EndNote-readable libraries for your
Mac.  This is really handy since most libraries have the GeoRef CD-ROM
database running on IBM-PC compatible computers.  However, full-access to
the GeoRef database will cause your EndNote Libraries to expand
enourmously! Mine went from ~3000 to over 9000 references in about a month
(maybe 6-7 searches).  This program is available at:
