There is another "bouncer" on an amoco.com address but the name escapes me.
I'm tooooooo swamped right now and have unsubscribed as well. Wih this
Windows software, I have to actually delete this entire database file (the
third time since late last night!) which is several hundred- -K long . I
could not keep a running count but the average message transfer rate was ~8
sec/message and it took 0ver 30 minutes before I aborted the transfer! BTW, I
noticed that unscubscribing is TH ONLY WAY to avert the long term effects of
this problem. Another more sinister thing to do is to have everyone who is
pissed off about this clutter to keep on posting until meltdown! Maybe then
we can convince Norm et al to change the system so that this won't happen
again! What do you think!
