Paleonetters - Two new publications that will be of interest to invertebrate paleontologists and zoologists. 1. Cheilostomatous Bryozoa from the Solomon Islands by Kevin J. Tilbrook The Cheilostomatous Bryozoa from the Solomon Islands is the first detailed study of this fauna from this island nation. A total of 184 species, in 44 families, are described and extensively illustrated by SEM images. Included are 72 new species, five new genera and two new families.

2. Checklist of the Land Snail and Slugs of California, Second Edition by Barry Roth and Patricia Sadeghian
After being out of print for over a year, we are pleased to announce the publication of the Second Edition of the Checklist of the Land Snail and Slugs of California by Barry Roth and Patricia Sadeghian. This publication documents the distribution of the 279 species known in the state, as wells as, providing nearly 200 full color photographs of type specimens.
