Hi everybody,

Are there any palaeotological or archaeological digs or similar work going
on in UK?

There is the "Roadside Geology of..." paperback series by Mountain Press
Publishing. They do have one for Texas (ISBN #0-87842-265-X).

Hi All,
A retired colleague of mine thinks he remembers that the Survey put out a
series of maps by state of fossil collecting localities along highways. I
don't remember the USGS doing it. Does anyone out there know if such a
thing exists, particularly for Texas?
Thanks,
