Dear Dr Koutsoukos,

     Thanks for acceptance of my two talks at the forthcoming sessions of
FORAMS 2006. I have made all plans to attend the conference but due to an
unforeseen personal problem I have to cancel my participation. I apologize
for this last minute changes due to an urgent problem. I would request you
to cancel my following talks:

 Technical session 5: September 12, 10 AM: Comparison of CART and
                                           discriminant analysis ..

 Technical session 10: September 15, 14 Hrs: delta 18O of a shallow water
                                             benthic foraminifer.


  My apologies also to the session Chairmen Drs Norman MacLeod, Wolfgang
Kuhnt and Holger Gebhardt.

I have made my booking in the Hotel Parque de Costeira  and I have paid 
advance too. If it is acceptable to the  Organizing Committee and to the
hotel management, the said advance may be adjusted against the room rent
of any needy student participant. Otherwise please ignore it and as per
the rule I do not claim the refund.
