I think that a review of Doron Nof's very informative and friendly web site would convince you that this is a very serious and accomplished scientist who has produced an interesting paper (you can get a full PDF from his site) that has a little extra twist in its tail [end]. I just e-mailed Dr. Nof to ask if he would outline his thinking on this paper for the benefit of Paleonet (he has yet to reply and may not). But this may be a salutary lesson that scientists (perhaps more than most) should keep their cool and not shoot from the hip - certainly not before they have all the facts.
