RE: paleonet no more stirring

I think it has been very positive as Tony knows now where his name could

Dear Paleo-Netters,
I have received several messages "off net" and we've all seen todays flurry.
Most of them boil down to some level of participation in the political
debate or "oh no, what have you started". Most of all, there is a strong
wish not to unleash another wave of emotional emails on a hot-button
subject. I truly regret stirring up a pot that clearly didn't need to be
stirred. I mistakenly thought that first message would be taken in the
light-hearted way it was intended. If you are on the paleo net, even
semi-regularly, you know the Americans were chastised by many for going
overboard with messages concerning evolution, ID, creationism, etc.,
including our backwards politics. I thought I was just throwing out a joke
about someone else's political controversy. I never even use the word y'all,
I just put that in to add to the joke, thinking that people would see the
Texas address and laugh (or so I thought). As we say over here, "My Bad".
(i.e. my mistake w/apology implied).

Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa
