paleonet Fwd: Harcourt School Publishers - trilobites photos wanted



I received a call from this woman at Harcourt publishing today - they're desperately looking for high-quality digital photos of trilobites from the Marble Mountains, California, for a 6th grade textbook.  They also need photos of the Marble Mountains themselves and any outcrop photos of the Latham Shale.

This is your chance to help promote geoscience education and make some money as well (she assured me they paid "well" for any photos they would use).  I've included the original e-mail with the description of their photo needs below - please send any photos you might have to Tobi Zausner directly at the e-mail address below (tzausner@earthlink.net).

We would like very beautiful digital images of trilobites found in California (see the list below) to reproduce in our textbook. We will pay for each image that is used. The images must either be very high resolution or slides.
 
In addition to this list of California Trilobites below, we would also be interested in beautiful images of
California brachiopods and California echinoderms as well as photos of the Marble Mountains and Latham Shale.
 
We are at deadline and so we need the photos immediately. I hope you have such images in your files.
