But it's already been done!

Before charging off to Africa, I just wish folks like the good Dr. Richard 
Paley would read the literature more carefully, with more attention, or at 
least see the movie versions, particularly in this case of Arthur Conan 
Doyle's "The Lost World" (1914 [Smith, Elder & Co., London]; "Being an 
account of the recent amazing adventure of Prof. George E. 
Challenger..."  et al. to "Amazonia").  The pterodactyl scene at the end of 
the latest Hollywood remake is quite touching.
